What I Do


Hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, Mandisa Pantin began her career in Film and Television after doing a re-training program in the basics of camera operation and production. Beginning as a swing grip/ gaffer in commercials, she went on to finish a degree in the University of the West Indies in Film Production and Theory (1st Class Honours) and throughout the years has made and continues to create several short films, the longest of which, Caribbean Skin African Identity, gained international acclaim.

Currently Mandisa works in the audiovisual industry as a Production Coordinator, Script Supervisor, Festival Programmer and independent filmmaker. Sheltering in Place in a Covid Free Space (2023) is her latest completed short film.
